About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy in Bakersfield, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on 09/28/2026. The role involves delivering direct patient care, coordinating peri-procedural activities, and supporting the endoscopy team in a fast-paced hospital procedural environment. The shift is a 10-hour mid shift, with a weekly pay range of $2,387 to $2,495.
Requirements
- Endoscopy nursing experience or demonstrated ability to support endoscopy procedures
- Ability to work a 10-hour mids shift
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Ability to work in a hospital setting in Bakersfield, California
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Provide peri-procedural nursing support for endoscopy procedures and assist with patient assessment and documentation.
- Monitor patient status during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document care provided and communicate patient status and needs clearly to the health care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes throughout the endoscopy pathway.
