About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy in Glenwood Springs, CO. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/29/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,534-$2,746 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is 4x10-hour days with rotating evening, night, and weekend call. The work setting is a medical facility. Potential traveler housing is available near the assignment site, offering furnished units.

Requirements

  • Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
  • BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Endoscopy; experience with pre/post care and scrubbing/tech support for endoscopy procedures
  • RN degree; appropriate licensure and credentials to practice in a hospital-type endoscopy setting
  • Must meet travel eligibility requirements per assignment guidelines (e.g., radius rule requiring a permanent address at least 75 miles away from the assignment site)
  • Resume, RN license, BLS, ACLS, Skills Sheet, and Flu vaccine proof required at submission

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver safe nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support as a scrub/tech, and post-procedure recovery.
  • Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, manage IVs and patient comfort, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  • Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedure setup, equipment readiness, and room turnover; ensure all supplies are prepared for endoscopy cases.
  • Collaborate with the endoscopy team (surgeons, physicians, and ancillary staff) to develop and execute patient care plans; document care and communicate findings clearly.
  • Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and privacy regulations; participate in quality improvement activities as assigned.
  • Document nursing interventions and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accurate and timely charting.
