About The Position
Purcell Municipal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department. This position works a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ER RN is responsible for the primary functions of a professional nurse leader, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. They must meet Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice, manage supplies and equipment during their shift, and foster a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel from other departments. Applicable shift differential is paid in addition to the base hourly rate.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Previous ED work experience
Responsibilities
- Perform the primary functions of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.
- Meet Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Manage supplies and equipment on his/her shift.
- Promote a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel of other departments.
