About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in the Emergency Department (ER) located in Los Angeles, CA. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/28/2026. The position offers night shifts, working 12-hour shifts (3x12), and is based in a hospital setting.

Requirements

Active California Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and manage 12-hour night shifts.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide supervision as assigned.
Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and complete credentialing and orientation processes as required.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ER patient population according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; respond to emergencies with appropriate critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Administer medications, monitor patient status, and intervene in deteriorating conditions as part of the emergency response.
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines; supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff as needed.
Document care accurately in the patient record and ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
