About The Position

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. This is a 16-week assignment with a start date of 09/21/2026. The role involves working in a hospital-based emergency department with high-volume patient flow, and experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred. The position offers guaranteed hours and night shifts.

Requirements

Active RN license (US) with eligibility to practice in the listed location
Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment
Demonstrated competency in adult and pediatric emergency care, with strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

TNCC and/or ENPC preferred
Level 1 trauma center experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the ED, including triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and rapid response to emergencies
Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IVs, labs, imaging results, and analgesia
Perform ED procedures within scope; assist with trauma and resuscitation protocols as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate handoffs and timely updates to care teams
Maintain patient and family education, discharge planning, and safety protocols; uphold infection control and patient privacy standards
