About The Position

These positions will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department. The primary location for this job will be in the ER hold area. This is a FLOAT POOL POSITION with ratios up to 1:7 in Med-Surg. Candidates must be flexible due to pool staffing and cannot make block schedule requests. Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience.
Must be flexible with scheduling.
Must be available to work every other weekend.
Must be able to work holidays as assigned.
Must complete full compliance to start on time.
RTO (Release to Other) is a maximum of 7 days.

Nice To Haves

Unit accepts first-time travelers.
Manager has 48 hours to review profile/confirmation after candidate signs and confirmation is sent.
Aya Offer is available if clinical pass is within RTO guidelines and meets specific facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department.
Work in the ER hold area as the primary location.
Adhere to ratios up to 1:7 in Med-Surg.
Be flexible with scheduling due to pool staffing needs.
Work holidays as assigned, with specific expectations based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period.
Complete all required compliance and orientation within the specified timeframe to start on time.
