About The Position

Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID. We need strong, independent experienced nurses to float our ICUs. If we do not have ICU needs, they will be expected to float to our floors as a staff nurse. The nursing office staffs: Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular and COVID. Ratio: 2:1 on ICUs for all shifts. Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more than 1:3. Will float to inpatient floors if needed, float to non-critical care units if census is low in ICU, and may be asked to utilized as a patient sitter if needed. Every other weekend requirement or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduled; plus holiday rotation.

Requirements

• 1 year CV ICU exp required
• BCLS, ACLS and NIH required
• Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation required
• 2 years experience required
• Will not accept first time travelers

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac Skill Set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation
• IABP, Impella, ECMO
• Vasoactive drips
• CRRT experience beneficial
• Chemo, CCRN, ONS, TNCC, CPI preferred
• Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred
