Registered Nurse/Case Manager
About The Position
This is a six-month contract travel nursing opportunity in case management at an acute care facility in Eureka, California. The role provides case management nursing care and may require floating between like units based on facility needs. The schedule is a day shift, five 8-hour shifts per week, from 8:00 to 16:30, with work every other weekend. Call is not required. The facility accepts local candidates and first-time travelers who pass screening and receive clinical approval. Housing resources are available for travelers, including assistance from a realtor if needed. All orientation hours are billable. Free parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking provided during orientation. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship is unavailable. All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal. The winter bill rate increase applies from October 4, 2026, through February 27, 2027, after which the rate automatically returns to the standard rate. Cancellations due to the rate change after signature result in a systemwide Do Not Return designation.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Acute care experience.
- Proficiency with the Epic charting system.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
