About The Position
EmVenio Research is hiring per diem Registered Dietitians for virtual clinical trial visits. The company provides quality in-home clinical trial visits for sponsors and CROs and hires, trains, certifies, tests, and manages its own Registered Dietitians. The role is part of a general staffing pool, and research experience is not required; on-the-job training and GCP certification training are provided. The Registered Dietitian performs the full scope of dietitian practice, including virtual lifestyle counseling to improve participants’ nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits in alignment with participants’ goals and values. The dietitian schedules appointments within required windows, completes virtual visits, and works with the Clinical Project Manager and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents promptly. The position also requires staying informed about nutrition and food health updates and carrying out additional duties as needed. The stated standard rate is $42.00 per hour, plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was taken before January 1, 2024.
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was taken on or after January 1, 2024.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current state dietitian license or certification in good standing, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual lifestyle counseling to improve participants’ nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits in line with their goals and values.
- Set appointments with subjects within the required appointment window.
- Complete virtual visits for clinical trial subjects.
- Work cooperatively with the Clinical Project Manager and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed on the latest nutrition and food health updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
