About The Position
EmVenio Research is hiring per-diem Registered Dietitians for virtual clinical trial visits. The company provides clinical trial visits for sponsors and CROs and hires, trains, certifies, tests, and manages its own Registered Dietitians. Its mission is to bring clinical trial visits to participants wherever they may be, increasing convenience and compliance with study protocols. No research experience is required; on-the-job training and GCP certification training are provided. The role is part of a general staffing pool and offers a standard rate of $42.00 per hour, plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay. The Registered Dietitian performs clinical nutrition practices, including virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits aligned with participants’ goals and values. The dietitian schedules and completes virtual visits within required appointment windows, collaborates with clinical project managers and site personnel, and submits accurate source documents in a timely manner. The role also requires keeping informed about nutrition and food health updates and performing additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was before January 1, 2024.
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was on or after January 1, 2024.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current state dietitian license or certification in good standing, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behavior and lifestyle habits aligned with participants’ goals and values.
- Set appointments with subjects within the required appointment window.
- Complete virtual visits for clinical trial subjects.
- Work cooperatively with the Clinical Project Manager and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest nutrition and food health updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
