About The Position
EmVenio Research is hiring per diem Registered Dietitians for virtual visits as part of its general staffing pool. The company provides in-home clinical trial visits for sponsors and contract research organizations and hires, trains, certifies, tests, and manages its own Registered Dietitians. Its mission is to make clinical trial visits more convenient and accessible to participants and support compliance with study protocols. No research experience is required; on-the-job training and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification training are provided. The Registered Dietitian performs the full scope of dietitian practice, including virtual lifestyle counseling for clinical trial participants. Counseling may address nutrition and dietary quality, mental health, coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits aligned with participant goals and values. The role also involves arranging visits within required appointment windows, completing visits, coordinating with clinical project and site personnel, and submitting accurate source documents promptly. The stated standard rate is $46.00 per hour, plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was taken before January 1, 2024.
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was taken on or after January 1, 2024.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current state dietitian license or certification in good standing, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health, coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits aligned with participant goals and values.
- Set appointments with subjects within the required appointment window.
- Complete virtual visits for clinical trial subjects.
- Work cooperatively with the Clinical Project Manager and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed on the latest nutrition and food health updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
