Registered Dietitian Clinical Research – PRN
About The Position
EmVenio Research is hiring per diem Registered Dietitians for virtual clinical trial visits. The company provides in-home clinical trial visits for sponsors and contract research organizations and hires, trains, certifies, tests, and manages its own Registered Dietitians. Its mission is to make clinical trial visits more convenient and improve compliance with study protocols by bringing visits to participants wherever they may be. The role performs the full scope of Registered Dietitian practice, including virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behaviors and lifestyle habits aligned with participants’ goals and values. Dietitians schedule appointments within required windows, complete virtual visits, and work with Clinical Project Managers and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents promptly. The position is part of a general staffing pool, requires no prior research experience, and includes on-the-job training and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification training. The standard rate is $42.00 per hour, with additional pay for commute, mileage, training, and administrative work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was before January 1, 2024.
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was on or after January 1, 2024.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current state dietitian license or certification in good standing, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and coping skills, and health behavior and lifestyle habits aligned with participants’ goals and values.
- Set appointments with subjects within the required appointment window.
- Complete virtual visits for clinical trial subjects.
- Work cooperatively with the Clinical Project Manager and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest nutrition and food health updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
