About The Position
Puyallup Modern Dentistry is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to support patient care and clinical excellence. The role offers opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, develop clinical efficiency, and work with modern dental technology alongside a team serving the local community. The Registered Dental Assistant advocates for patients and clinicians and contributes to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment to the best possible treatment with urgency.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable.
- Complete patient X-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate and at the direction of the dentist.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and other regulations and policies, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies and practices.
