About The Position

Smile Magic Garland is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to support patient care in a dental practice. The role includes welcoming and preparing patients for exams, taking digital X-rays, assisting dentists during treatment, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, educating patients about treatment and aftercare, performing teeth polishing and sealant placement, and helping manage appointments and patient care. The RDA is expected to help create a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients and uphold sterilization standards.

Requirements

• Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant License.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced general or pediatric dental practice.
• Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing Certifications; training is available for the right candidate.
