About The Position

Gloss Dental (Fredericksburg Rd) is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists and patients in a general or pediatric dental practice. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, and focuses on helping patients feel comfortable, assisting with dental procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, and supporting patient care and appointments. The position also includes patient education and performing teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant license.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced general or pediatric dental practice.
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications; training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams and help them feel at ease.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Maintain a sterile, well-organized exam and treatment environment.
• Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures.
• Help manage patient appointments and care.
• Uphold sterilization standards.
• Create a warm and engaging atmosphere for patients throughout their visit.
