About The Position
Join Northeast Dallas Dentistry as an experienced Dental Assistant and grow professionally as an oral health care provider. You will work with a team dedicated to clinical excellence and creating lasting patient relationships, with access to modern dental technology and support for developing clinical efficiency. The role advocates for patients and clinicians and contributes to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment to the best possible treatment with urgency.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable.
- Complete patient X-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate and at the direction of the dentist.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and other regulations and policies, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies and practices.
