About The Position
Join Warner Road Modern Dentistry as an experienced Dental Assistant and grow as an oral health care provider alongside a team dedicated to clinical excellence and creating lasting patient relationships. As a patient and clinician advocate, the Dental Assistant is a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. The role supports the dentist in helping patients commit to appropriate treatment, maintains a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment, and completes x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate under the dentist’s direction. The Dental Assistant also sterilizes and disinfects instruments, equipment, and operatories according to American Dental Association guidelines and applicable regulations and policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment to the best possible treatment with urgency.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable.
- Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate and at the direction of the dentist.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and policies, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies and practices.
