About The Position
This position involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks within a busy, fast-paced medical office. The Registered/Certified Clinical Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient intake, assisting with examinations and procedures, managing medications, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and completion of annual required workplace trainings are mandatory.
Requirements
- Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered for this position.
- Previous medical office experience is REQUIRED.
- Proficient computer skills with Electronic Medical Record experience.
- Knowledge of medications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting.
- Multi-tasking skills required.
- High focus on quality patient care.
- Must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.

- Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories.
- Preparing patients for exams.
- Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures
- Injections
- Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas.
- Various other duties as assigned/needed.
