About The Position

Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee imaging company and partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a full-time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). The position is based primarily at the Alvernon site in Tucson, Arizona, with occasional travel to the Wilmot and La Cholla sites. The CCMA supports radiology staff—including radiologists, nurses, and technologists—in a fast-paced team environment. The schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Radiology Ltd. provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Southern Arizona. Its subspecialized, fellowship-trained radiologists use advanced technology to provide interpretations across areas including body imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and pediatric radiology.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active CPR certification.
Customer-service orientation and excellent communication skills.
Excellent multitasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow.
Ability to work on a team and identify where help is needed.
Responsible, reliable, and empathetic.
Proficiency in Windows-based PC applications.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical office experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow.
Monitor patients after procedures, including monitoring vital signs.
Interview patients before exams and accurately document information for nurses, physician extenders, technologists, and radiologists.
Assist with patient education for scheduled exams.
Monitor supplies.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
