About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking Certified Clinical Medical Assistants to work with healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. The role involves providing patients with a positive, supportive, nurturing, and professional experience, including triaging calls, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and following up with patients and families. Candidates must be willing to work in a team environment, have reliable transportation, and travel between offices and satellite locations in Baltimore County. Full-time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands-on patient responsibilities and opportunities for enrichment and growth. The offices are located in Reisterstown, Pikesville/Woodholme, and Towson. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7.5 to 8 hours per day, with availability required as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Current registration or certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Ability to learn the Nextgen EMR and Phreesia application.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between offices and satellite locations.

Responsibilities

Assist during routine exams.
Record patient histories and log vital signs.
Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
Provide Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Triage calls, room patients, assist during office visits, and provide follow-up to patients and families.
