About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Chester, Virginia. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 17.5 hours per week. Exact session times for this case are Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Virginia and aims to keep those plans open, offering a dedicated care manager and schedules built around the client's needs, family's availability, and the RBT's availability, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering direct therapy according to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback. The RBT will collect session data and submit notes. Non-billable time is paid at $10 per hour.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 17.5 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in supervision including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
