About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a specific client case in Kapolei, Hawaii. This part-time role involves approximately 17.5 hours per week, with a set schedule of Monday-Friday afternoons. The position offers direct therapy delivery based on a treatment plan developed by an assigned BCBA, with regular supervision and data collection. Step Ahead ABA focuses on providing therapy to families on Medicaid across Hawaii, ensuring schedules are built around clinical appropriateness, family availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 17.5 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Nice To Haves

• Support to get RBT certification if not yet certified (offered by Step Ahead).

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend training and required meetings.
