About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Kapolei, Hawaii. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons, totaling approximately 9.8 hours per week. The exact session times are 4:15 PM to 7:30 PM on these days. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. The company prioritizes filling new cases with their current RBTs before seeking external candidates. Step Ahead ABA is committed to providing therapy to autistic children and their families, regardless of income, and supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii. They ensure families have a dedicated care manager and schedules are built around the client's clinical needs, the family's availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon/Wed/Fri afternoons, about 9.8 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend training and required meetings.
