About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Sanford, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday to Friday mornings, approximately 25 hours per week, with exact session times from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. This role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan, collecting session data, and submitting notes. Non-billable time, including training and required meetings, is paid at $10 per hour. The company emphasizes real supervision with in-session checks, observations, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification with the BACB.
  • Prior ABA experience.
  • Availability Mon–Fri mornings, about 25 hours per week.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
  • Collect session data and submit notes.
  • Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
  • Attend training and required meetings.
