RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - Southwest Iowa
About The Position
Carelinks ABA is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to provide in-home ABA therapy using naturalistic, child-led approaches. Both people starting their careers and those who are already certified are welcome. The team provides hands-on training, individualized support, and opportunities for professional growth. The role delivers one-to-one therapy in home, school, community, or clinical settings and involves working with children under treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA. Sessions and daily schedules may vary according to client needs.
Requirements
- RBT certification or availability to complete 14-day training.
- Must pass a background check.
- Minimum of 15 direct billable service hours per week.
- Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and ethical standards.
Nice To Haves
- Consistent availability Monday through Friday is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, community, or clinic settings.
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
- Use play-based, naturalistic strategies to teach communication, social, life, and academic skills.
- Collect accurate data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction using electronic systems.
- Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and required trainings.
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a client-centered approach.
- Support a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
