RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - Southwest Iowa
About The Position
Carelinks ABA is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to provide in-home ABA therapy using naturalistic, child-led approaches. The organization welcomes both candidates who are already certified and those who can complete the 14-day training. Team members receive hands-on training, individualized support, and opportunities for professional growth. RBTs provide one-to-one therapy to children in home, school, community, or clinic settings, implementing individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising BCBA. They use play-based strategies to teach communication, social, life, and academic skills, collect data electronically, and collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and professionalism and supporting a safe, positive therapeutic environment. Sessions and daily schedules may vary according to client needs. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour.
Requirements
- RBT certification or availability to complete 14-day training.
- Must pass a background check.
- Minimum of 15 direct billable service hours per week.
- Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and ethical standards.

- Consistent Monday–Friday availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, community, or clinic settings.
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
- Use play-based, naturalistic strategies to teach communication, social, life, and academic skills.
- Collect accurate data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction using electronic systems.
- Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and required trainings.
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a client-centered approach.
- Support a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
