About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The schedule is Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday middays, approximately 28 hours per week. This posting is for a single client case, meaning the hours and days are fixed. Exact session times are M-Th 10am-2pm, and M-Th 10am-1pm during the summer. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Our current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to their availability and clinical needs, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering 97153 direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback. RBTs collect session data and submit notes. Non-billable time is paid at $16 per hour. Our BCBAs and clinical directors have over 40 years of combined ABA experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu middays, about 28 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
• Stay active and engaged in session.
