About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The schedule is Monday through Saturday in the afternoons, totaling approximately 24 hours per week. Exact session times are Monday-Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and will provide a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. This position offers the opportunity to work with a single client, with hours and days that are fixed. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii and focuses on keeping therapy plans open by building schedules around the client's needs, family availability, and the technician's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat middays, about 24 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Stay active and engaged in session.
