About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This part-time position involves approximately 12 hours per week, with sessions scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4-7 pm. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and a thorough handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal candidates for new cases, offering current RBTs the first opportunity to take on new clients. The company is committed to providing therapy to families on Medicaid across Hawaii and ensures schedules are built around the client's needs, the family's availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri, about 12 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend training and required meetings.
