About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. This position is for a single client case. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii, ensuring access to therapy and maintaining open plans with dedicated care managers and schedules built around the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's availability, not a corporate hours target.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
