About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a client in Westfield, Indiana. This position offers a consistent schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, totaling approximately 20 hours per week. The exact session times are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Wednesday from 8:15 am to 1:15 pm, all conducted in a school setting. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is already assigned to this client and will provide a thorough handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal RBTs for new cases, offering them the first opportunity to take on new clients.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stay active and engaged during sessions.

Nice To Haves

• Support to obtain RBT certification is offered by Step Ahead for those not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the assigned BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for completed work.
• Participate in real supervision, including in-session QA and IOA checks, observations, and feedback.
• Attend required meetings and training.
