Registered Behavior Technician – Paid RBT Training
About The Position
Galliant is expanding its high-energy clinic team to provide compassionate, 1-on-1 therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role is ideal for experienced, certified RBTs seeking a supportive center-based environment or entry-level candidates eager to build a purposeful career. For those without prior ABA certification, Galliant covers 100% of the 40-hour RBT training and exam costs within the first 8 weeks. The position offers a 100% center-based model, eliminating the need for in-home driving and unpaid travel time. A predictable daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday, is provided, with occasional team meetings extending to 5:00 PM. The role is BCBA-D owned and mentored, offering direct supervision hours and mentorship from accessible BCBAs.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the BACB OR a High School Diploma/GED with a strong desire to learn (no prior healthcare or ABA experience required!).
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming care, dedication to patient success, and readiness to thrive in a collaborative clinical team.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable personal transportation for daily commute to the clinic.
- Agile and active! Ability to sit on the floor, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move quickly to safely engage children and maintain clinic safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 Direct Care: Deliver compassionate, assent-based care that prioritizes the wants and needs of your clients while supporting neurodiversity acceptance.
- Implement Individualized Plans: Run target procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors, build daily living skills, and improve functional communication.
- Track Session Data: Use a clinic tablet to collect real-time session data and draft objective daily progress notes.
