Paid Training- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)
About The Position
Above and Beyond Therapy is seeking individuals with a passion for working with children to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Requirements
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder
- Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication
- The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and families
- Valid state identification card
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license to commute from each location

- Experience in childcare, nannying, babysitting, preschool/infant teaching, Montessori guiding, tutoring, substitute teaching, behavioral health technician roles, camp counseling, childcare volunteering, Sunday school teaching, teaching, special education, sociology, human development, early childhood development, paraprofessional roles, direct support professional roles, or life skills assistant roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home or in clinic environments
- Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA
- Data collection and session note submission
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors
- Participate regularly in staff meetings and trainings
- Commute from each location with a vehicle and valid driver's license
- Be prompt to appointments
- Other duties as assigned
