Behavior Technician (Paid RBT Training)
About The Position
Galliant is hiring an entry-level Behavior Technician for its Burleson clinic to provide compassionate, one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. No prior ABA experience is required; Galliant provides paid training and the certification needed to begin a career in behavioral health. The role is fully clinic-based and operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, with occasional team meetings extending to 5:00 PM. The technician works under the clinical guidance of BCBAs in a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming environment. Within the first eight weeks, Galliant covers course materials and national BACB exam fees for Registered Behavior Technician certification. Starting pay is $17.00–$18.50 per hour, with performance and compensation reviews every six months. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the Burleson clinic.
- Comfort with sitting on the floor, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and moving quickly to safely engage children.
- Reliability, high energy, and commitment to neurodiversity-affirming care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to children in a structured clinic environment.
- Use compassionate, assent-based therapy to build functional communication, daily living skills, and social engagement while reducing challenging behaviors.
- Use an employer-provided tablet to record session metrics and objective daily progress notes in real time.
- Create a fun, positive learning environment tailored to each child's individual care plan.
