About The Position

Join Finni New Mexico as an ABA Behavior Technician. In this part-time role, you will work with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-home ABA care and support children as they develop skills and reach milestones. You will work one-on-one with patients and their families and provide in-person behavior intervention services in children’s homes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in Chaparral, New Mexico. Bilingual ability is required. Finni South New Mexico’s mission is to support team members’ continuous growth and professional development, empower them to provide compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy, and improve access to ABA services. The role includes paid training, with assistance toward RBT certification. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and flexible hours.

Requirements

Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
Experience working with children and a passion for working with children with special needs.
Reliable transportation.
Bilingual ability.
Active CPR certification is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures, including kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing, for extended periods.
Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Interest in pursuing a career in the field.
Active RBT certification; preferred but not required.
Experience with technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home.
Collect and record data on child behaviors.
Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
Attend team meetings.
Use technology for real-time data collection, scheduling, communication, and electronic documentation.
