About The Position

The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for providing spiritual leadership, ministry direction, training, resources and support for field staff and volunteers to achieve the vision and mission of FCA. The RVP is responsible for ensuring the expansion and development of staff, the development of leadership boards, and the growth of financial resources. The RVP models the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in dealing with staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes. They are responsible for ensuring the ministry of FCA is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to the FCA policies and procedures. The Regional Vice President will create organizational unity and synergy between the field staff and the Support Center.

Requirements

  • Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement.
  • Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study.
  • Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide spiritual leadership, ministry direction, training, resources and support for field staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure the expansion and development of staff.
  • Develop leadership boards.
  • Grow financial resources.
  • Model FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.
  • Ensure ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures.
  • Create organizational unity and synergy between field staff and the Support Center.
  • Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes by ministering to and through the coach with Huddles, One-on-Ones, and Events.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and developing effective and diverse staff aligned with FCA's ministry strategy and methods for the region.
  • Assist staff to actively recruit and attract highly qualified staff prospects.
  • Select candidates based on calling, character, competence, commitment, and chemistry.
  • Provide knowledge and resources to develop staff, Board Chairs, and volunteers.
  • Prepare staff to lead self, lead others, lead teams and lead organizationally.
  • Assist staff to recruit, train and develop effective and diverse Leadership Board Chairs and Board Members.
  • Ensure staff have a strategy to connect, communicate and care for Board Members and donors.
  • Serve as the chief fund raiser and financial manager.
  • Ensure staff establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Director of International Advancement (RDIA) to connect their region with their US or Global region and serve through praying, giving, and going.
