About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial orthoses, specializing in treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and ear shape correction with EarWell®. We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Physical Therapist based in Raleigh, NC, to support clinics in North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. This role involves working exclusively with infants in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, treating them with the DOC Band® and EarWell®. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not required due to our formal training and mentoring program. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a niche area and see visible, measurable changes in patients within weeks.

Requirements

Licensed PT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics
Background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development
Experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families
Capability to treat the whole patient
Hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
Travel to support North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clinics, with 2-3 overnights per week.
