About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial orthoses, specializing in treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and ear shape correction with the DOC Band® and EarWell®. This full-time position is based in Raleigh, NC, and involves travel to support clinics in North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, with 2-3 overnights per week. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area, treating patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from diverse backgrounds, finding PTs, OTs, RNs, and Certified Prosthetists/Orthotists to be a good fit due to their relevant experience.

Requirements

• Licensed PT
• 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®
• Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®
• Evaluate patients for plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears
• Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process
• Travel to support North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clinics
