About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses and non-invasive ear correction treatments. We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist based in Raleigh, NC, to travel and support our North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clinics. This role involves 2-3 overnights per week in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. The position offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a niche area, treating infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Clinicians are viewed as experts by pediatricians and parents in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including PTs, OTs, RNs, and CPOs, valuing their diverse skill sets. A formal training program with mentoring is provided, making pediatric experience a preferred but not essential qualification.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics
Experience in symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development
Experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families
Capability to treat the whole patient
Hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
Travel to support North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clinics, with 2-3 overnights per week.
