About The Position

As the Regional Sales Manager in our Sales team, you will recruit, train, and continuously develop a high-performing team of field sales representatives within the assigned region, whilst strategically managing our key accounts and territories and participating in events and projects where required. Requirements

  • The ability to interact and communicate confidently with customers, agencies and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • A proven track record in driving business growth through innovative concepts and strategic execution
  • Analytical thinking combined with a structured and results-oriented approach to work
  • Confidence in reading and understanding complex technical content
  • Fluent German and good English language skills
  • High level of professional social competence and a cooperative, situational leadership style
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams to peak performance
  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading and developing successful sales teams, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring achievement of team and individual sales targets through strategic leadership and targeted performance management.
  • Analysing market conditions and share relevant trends or events that may impact sales performance
  • Supporting the planning and execution of key trade fairs and industry events to enhance brand presence and customer engagement
  • Working closely with national account teams, marketing, customer service, and professional services to implement initiatives and maximize business value, as well as helping to foster long-term partnerships with our key accounts.
  • Contributing to the development of short-, mid-, and long-term business plans aligned with CooperVision’s marketing strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Completing regular joint field visits to actively support the team and implement best practices in daily sales activities.
