About The Position

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for challenging IT and SAP-related projects. You will manage projects in terms of time, budget, quality, and profitability, act as the central point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and actively advance project management standards. You can expect an environment with scope for design, clear responsibility, and short decision-making paths. The company is looking for someone with experience in managing complex IT and transformation projects, who works in a structured and communicative manner, and is comfortable in both classic and agile project environments.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in managing complex IT or transformation projects (classic & agile)
  • Proficient use of common project management tools such as MS365, Jira, Confluence, and ideally SAP-related PM frameworks (e.g., SAP Activate, Signavio)
  • Experience in budget, resource, and forecast management, as well as responsibility for project profitability
  • Good technical understanding of IT and SAP landscapes, as well as interfaces, architectures, and migration scenarios
  • Structured, self-reliant, and quality-conscious way of working – even in demanding project situations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in dealing with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Very good German and English language skills

Responsibilities

  • Planning, steering, and implementation of complex IT projects (classic & agile)
  • Active stakeholder management, including communication, escalations, and conflict resolution
  • Ensuring budget, forecast, and project profitability
  • Identification, evaluation, and management of risks and changes
  • Ensuring project and quality standards as well as technical documentation
  • Preparation and moderation of meetings, workshops, and management presentations
  • Close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and consultants
