About The Position

The Regional Sales Execution Manager (RSEM) is responsible for driving growth across Sazerac's product portfolio within their assigned region. This leadership role involves managing a regional sales team, developing team members' capabilities, and ensuring best-in-class in-market solicitation to achieve volume growth and market share. The RSEM will build an effective sales team through strategic in-market planning, coaching, and training, fostering a pipeline of future sales leaders. Key responsibilities include building strategic customer relationships, developing order solicitation plans, and driving execution through the sales team. This role requires strong line management practices, clear communication of business objectives, and fostering high team engagement. The RSEM will train and support team members to achieve sales goals efficiently and creatively, demonstrating executive presence and a strategic sales leadership mindset. They will translate strategic direction into go-to-market execution and order solicitation strategies to increase sales, growth, profit, and share, while shaping customer and channel strategies. Building a strong network with customers and stakeholders, driving efficiencies through partnerships, and leading a growth-oriented sales team with disciplined performance measurement are crucial. The RSEM will execute the strategic sales plan by channel, build strategic customer relationships, and directly engage with Top 30 customers for order solicitation. They will motivate and retain sales professionals, stay current on industry trends, and coordinate with State Managers and National Account teams for alignment on programming and execution. Partnering with National Accounts to define call coverage, frequency models, and sales performance is also a key aspect of the role.

  • 5+ years of sales management experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

  • Lead a growth-oriented sales team that maintains disciplined systems to measure, manage, and monitor performance against defined business metrics and in-outlet execution standards.
  • Execute the strategic sales plan by channel and ensure execution of key priorities and initiatives.
  • Build strategic customer relationships throughout the market and call directly on the Top 30 customers to engage in future order solicitation.
  • Lead with energy and ensure the team understands the importance of aligning the sales organization around the company's long-term sales and growth strategies and fiscal plans.
  • Motivate and retain highly skilled sales professionals to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market changes, customer needs, and emerging technologies that drive sales.
  • Coordinate with State Managers and National Account teams to ensure strong alignment on programming and PODs, maximizing execution, delivery against business plans, speed to market, and market share.
  • Partner with key stakeholders within National Accounts to help define and manage call coverage, frequency models, sales performance, and business reviews to improve consistency and the effectiveness of order solicitation efforts.
  • Coordinate with State Managers and National Account Managers to ensure strong alignment on sales and solicitation programming and execution of business plans.
