About The Position

Wall Residences is seeking a Regional Program Manager to support developmental disability services in the Danville, Virginia area. The role involves developing person-centered services and positive behavior supports, building supportive relationships with Direct Support Professionals, individuals receiving services, and their families, and connecting people to meaningful community activities. This is a telecommuting position with some flexibility. A home office and internet access are required. The position involves travel as needed within a regional area; the company provides a car for that travel, as well as a computer, phone, and gas card. Program Managers have access to training and continuing education reimbursement. Employees are mandated reporters of abuse and neglect involving individuals with disabilities. Hiring is contingent on excellent references, an active driver’s license with a good driving record, and acceptable criminal background check results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field.
Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports.
Active driver’s license with a good driving record.
Excellent references.
Acceptable criminal background check results.
Home office and internet access.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
Two years of experience supervising employees.
