Elevating quality. Powering operations — Join Velocity Electronics, a Jabil company, as our next REGIONAL MANAGER OF QUALITY AND OPERATIONS in Austin, Texas. We are seeking a Regional Manager of Quality and Operations to lead the Quality and Operations team, ensure products consistently meet customer requirements, and support the resolution of customer concerns related to product quality. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Electronics, or Component Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in inspection and classification of semiconductor and electronic components, with a demonstrated ability to make accurate conformance decisions.
- 4+ years of experience managing a team of engineers, technicians, or inspectors.
- Familiarity with basic failure analysis methodologies, including decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional testing, as well as RoHS requirements.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

- Working knowledge and experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with customer quality requirements across all operations.
- Lead, train, and develop the Quality and Operations team to drive high performance and accountability.
- Partner with internal departments, customers, and service providers to address quality concerns and ensure effective operational execution.
- Drive initiatives that improve the company’s ability to consistently meet and exceed customer quality standards.
- Manage the Quality and Operations team to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant execution of daily activities.
- Review inspection results for accuracy and perform supplemental inspections as needed to determine product acceptability.
- Communicate inspection findings to Purchasing and Sales, and recommend corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Deliver training on quality awareness, inspection standards, and product knowledge across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
