About The Position

The Regional Leasing Agent oversees leasing activities across multiple residential properties in the company’s portfolio and facilitates the leasing of apartment homes. The role serves as a liaison for prospective residents and supports a smooth, positive leasing experience by responding to inquiries, conducting tours, assisting with applications, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The agent also supports marketing, networking, online vacancy advertising, and outreach to local businesses and companies. The position involves daily travel among properties in the Oklahoma metro area and is performed in person.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent GED.
3–5 years of sales experience.
1–3 years of experience in the property management industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask.
Ability to act ethically and with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and follow legal and ethical guidelines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, leasing software, digital marketing, and social media.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer.
Ability to lift 25 pounds at times.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for daily travel to properties in the Oklahoma metro area.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person, and follow up daily with active guest cards.
Conduct tours of properties, available apartment homes, and amenities; build positive relationships with prospective residents.
Manage incoming applications, submit them for processing, and coordinate handoff to onsite teams.
Maintain accurate records of prospective tenant interactions in company software and CRM programs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform leasing strategies.
Update the market survey for properties weekly.
Coordinate with property managers and maintenance teams on make-ready dates, move-in dates, and related transition details.
Communicate with the supervisor about leasing performance, occupancy rates, and market trends.
Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to attract residents.
Audit online ILS listings, pricing, photos, and contact buttons for accuracy and functionality.
Promote available units and special offers through online platforms, social media, and other channels.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, including flyers and advertisements.
Travel daily to various properties within the Oklahoma metro area.
