About The Position

The Regional Director, Operations is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective patient care through the operational oversight of multiple Option Care Health Care Management Centers (CMCs), while meeting corporate compliance requirements and healthcare industry regulations. The role is directly accountable for market development and financial performance and oversees operations across multiple branches, including pharmacy dispensing and nursing. The position’s scope includes four or more sites, or three sites plus at least $50 million in acute revenue. The role manages multiple CMCs with 12 or more combined Pharmacy Teams and combined revenue exceeding $100 million. The Regional Director partners with the Regional Director, Sales, leads operational and financial performance, and builds a cohesive, service-oriented team through recruitment, training, development, engagement, and retention. The position also supports accreditation performance-improvement activities and safeguards confidential patient and proprietary company information. Supervisory responsibilities are included.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 8 years of experience in a position leading operations.
At least 3 years of experience managing a P&L, including budget development.
At least 5 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing them.
Experience leading team efforts within highly matrixed organizations.
Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting service-quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
Basic-level skill with Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time for business, within and outside the state.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in healthcare or business administration.
Experience leading multi-site sales and/or operations in home health care or infusion.
RN or RPh licensure.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational performance across assigned CMCs, ensuring efficient, effective, high-quality services and patient care.
Ensure patient safety and satisfaction across operations, including pharmacy dispensing and nursing.
Ensure error-proofing in pick, pack, and ship operations.
Partner with the Regional Director, Sales, to drive market development and execute market-based sales strategy.
Drive financial performance through supply-chain and inventory optimization, management of controllable expenses, reduction of bad debt and claims on hold, and accurate patient registration and onboarding.
Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and corporate policies.
Recruit, train, develop, engage, and retain qualified team members to build a cohesive, service-oriented team.
Maintain a work environment that supports staff success, professional development, and contribution to company goals.
Manage multiple Care Management Centers with 12 or more combined Pharmacy Teams and combined revenue over $100 million.

Safeguard the confidentiality of patient and proprietary company data in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
