About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring a Regional Class A Tanker Driver based in Wooster, Ohio. The route runs from Wooster to Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois and averages 60 hours per week. The role offers annual earning potential of $120,000, weekly earning potential of $2,400, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and weekly overtime opportunities. Per diem may apply. The driver operates tractor-trailer tanker units and transports hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The role requires compliance with safety practices and regulations, proper loading and unloading and securement of loads, and completion of required vehicle and trip documentation. Requirements

Class A CDL.
At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
At least 3 months of tanker experience.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
Ability to climb and work from heights.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
Ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

Comply with health and safety practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
Operate tractor-trailer tanker units.
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste properly and secure loads.
Placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
