About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring a Regional Class A Tanker Driver for routes from Wooster, Ohio, to Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. The route averages 60 hours per week. Annual earning potential is $120,000 and weekly earning potential is $2,400. Per diem may be available if applicable, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus is available. Weekly overtime opportunities are offered. The role includes operating tractor-trailer tanker units and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste while following health, safety, company, and Department of Transportation requirements.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• At least 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, keeping health and safety the top priority.
• Operate tractor-trailer tanker units.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of the units.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste properly and secure loads.
• Placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
