About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver for its team in Cleveland, Ohio. The route runs from Cleveland to Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois and averages 60 hours per week. The role operates tractor-trailer tanker units transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Annual earning potential is $120,000, with weekly earning potential of $2,400. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available, along with weekly overtime opportunities. Per diem may be applicable.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• At least 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting safely at all times.
• Operate tractor-trailer tanker units.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of the units.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste properly and secure loads.
• Placard vehicles in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
