About The Position

This regional driving position focuses on the Western states, offering opportunities for new CDL school graduates to train with an experienced driver. The role emphasizes shorter runs, typically two days or less, within 11 Western states, with the flexibility to travel further for more miles. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks, with consistent weekly miles. Riders and pets are permitted after the training period. The position includes paid training for new CDL-A holders, followed by a guaranteed weekly pay floor for solo drivers. Some winter driving is expected.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Valid license in your current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4 to 6 weeks of over-the-road training with an experienced trainer.
• Drive regional routes primarily within 11 Western states.
• Maintain an average of 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week.
• Adhere to company policies regarding moving violations and accidents.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Perform duties that may involve winter driving conditions.
